This year I've managed to find some absolute gems of the beauty world, and although it was proabably the hardest blogging related decision I've ever had to make, I've come up with twelve (I thought that was quite fitting..) of the very best products from 2012. Enjoy!
Bioderma Crealine H20 (full review here), Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (full review here), La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo, NUXE Reve de Miel Lipbalm, Topshop Whimsical Lipstick, Topshop Beguiled Lipstick, Topshop Ohh La La Lipstick, Topshop Mischief Lipstick, Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, Benefit Dallas, Urban Decay Naked Palette, Essie Absolutely Shore (full review here), Essie Fiji, Essie Bordeaux, Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover, Real Techniques Buffing Brush (from the Core Collection), Real Techniques Stippling Brush, Real Techniques Contour Brush (from the Core Collection), Real Techniques Setting Brush, Real Techniques Deulux Crease Brush (from the Starter Set), Moroccan Oil
I love this video, the naked palette and real techniques makeup brushes are some of my favorites too!

I watched this video this morning and really enjoyed it. I've actually added the Origins mask onto my latest post (a wishlist) because I loved the look of it that much :)
I'm almost completely beauty illiterate and have never felt confident with applying makeup but the Naked Pallette made it's way into my life a year ago and it is all I need for eyeshadow, makes life much easier! :-)
I agree! I totally love my Naked{2} palette, love the Moroccan oil, LOVE the Dallas blusher! Great picks! Also your photography is lovely, the photo of all the makeup looks very professional!

I loved your favourites, I found most of them quite tedious but I watched all of yours and they were enough in depth but not too long :) I want all of these now! Would you say the Laura Mercier foundation would be good for a normal - oily skin that needs a good coverage? Thanks!
Thanks for this, really made me want to fish out and try some of the La Roche Posay samples I have in my house. Love your videos, keep up the good work :D
P.s We're both called Alix!
Lovely picks, I certainly wanna try out more topshop lipsticks! they are really good, and perhaps Essie nail varnishes if the price doesn't scare me off lol!
We have similiar tastes Alix. I'm such a big fan of the Naked palette and Real Techniques brushes too. I'd die without them in my life. Seriously they're such great worthy investments. Definitely worth the splurge. I also love my Bourjois Magic Nail polish remover. Great minds think alike eh? ;)
I love your videos! Ive been dying to try bioderma for so long! I adore my naked palette as well and the real techniques brushes are just flawless, by far the best brushes!
Moroccan Oil and Real Techniques brushes were big stand out items for me this year. I really want to try the Laura Mercier foundation. Wondering whether it will be wedding day suitable as I will be doing my own makeup for my big day later this year!
