Paris Beauty Haul

When I found out I'd be taking a trip to Paris last month not only did I start planning the sights to see and places to go, but also which beauty products I wanted to pick up on our brief visit. From the lure of the French pharmacies, stocked to the brim with amazing skincare brands and a fair few products that are almost impossible to find in the UK to the various Sephoras dotted all over the place - the store on the Champs-Élysées is practically a make up lovers heaven, housing just about every product you could ever wish for. Unfortunately not everything could come home with me in my already over-packed suitcase but this handful of beauty goodies were just too good to be left behind!

A Splurge at Space NK

I definitely must have been feeling a little spendy on my latest jaunt into Space NK and I think use of the word 'splurge' is quite justifiable here. There's just something about that place, from the brands they stock to that sweet little black bag you make your way out the door with, I can't help but want to buy everything in sight - shall we rename this post 'An Ode to Space NK'?. Sephora Haul

No doubt make up lovers all over the country exhaled a collective scream of joy when in February it was announced that Sephora would be shipping to the UK. Having never visited the US or any other place lucky enough to have a branch of the black and white striped Heaven, I headed straight to the site and frantically began adding everything into my virtual basket as soon as the news reached me. After coming across a few obstacles during the ordering process and common sense finally making it's way in, I decided to whittle down my purchases to a handful of products that I'd been lusting over for years, all from brands that have so far been impossible to find in England. As for the items that didn't make it into the final cut, I can't definitely see order number two making it's way into my life very soon!

First Sephora starts shipping to the UK, now Boots are on 3 for 2. How am I ever going to be able to stop buying make up? Though January should ideally be the month I give the bank card a well deserved rest and start reflecting on how a person could possibly need so many different cosmetics, I seem to have done the opposite and filled my shopping bags to the brim with new beauty finds. Drugstore Make Up Haul

Move aside higher end, it's time for drugstore to take over and after a rather large splurge at Boots (how they love to tempt me with those 3 for 2 offers) I've found quite a few gems amid the sea of cosmetics. From the latest foundation offering from Bourjois to some festive glitter nail polishes and a whole lot more, the reasonably priced is seriously bringing it at the moment. I may have to go in for another round before the offer ends..

It's not too often that I have access to all my favourite beauty brands under one roof, so on arriving back from my three day Birthday trip to London at the end of last month I came bearing bags and bags of shopping and a bank card that's now gone into recovery.
